Microsoft Investigating Xbox One Chat Adapter Issues
Over the last few weeks, Microsoft has released a number of updates and accessories for the Xbox One in order to make the console more user friendly. Unfortunately, when so many things are released around the same time, there are bound to be problems with some of them.
The biggest problem appears to be with the Xbox One chat adapter and party chat. According to users on the Xbox Forums, many are getting distorted audio when using headsets with the adapter. All models ranging from Astro to Turtle Beach seem to be affected by the problem.
In a statement to Game Informer, Microsoft confirmed it is looking into the issue.
“We’ve heard about a small number of users experiencing intermittent issues,” the rep said. “We’re actively investigating and are working on a resolution.”
