Dark Souls II Launch Trailer Prepares You To Die

Dark Souls II is out right now on PS3 and Xbox 360. To bring awareness to the fact, Namco Bandai has released a launch trailer, indicating to newcomers just exactly what kind of game you can expect.

As the title suggests, the game is quite dark. You will die, over and over. Yet, it is through death in which one can seek and relinquish the light. Whether you play as a naked fool, a heavily-armored knight or a magic use, countless enemies and gigantic bosses will do their very best to stop you dead in your tracks. Actions must be timed perfectly, corners must be checked, and move sets must be learned. Patience is the key to success in Dark Souls II, and only through observation can one expect to make it out the other side intact.

Dark Souls II is available now for the PS3 and Xbox 360, with the PC version coming out on April 25th. Check out the trailer video for yourself below.
