Microsoft Teases Resolution Improvements on Xbox One

With reports of Direct X 12 coming to the Xbox One later this year circulating, there is a lot of talk that the new API could increase the system’s resolution for games. Microsoft has yet to directly comment on this rumor in the form of a confirmation or denial, but one member of the Xbox team has commented.

In a response to a fan-posed question on Twitter, Microsot Studios corporate vice president Phil Spencer addressed the Direct X 12 rumors with a simple response.

“Stay tuned for GDC,” he told the fan.

What exactly fans should tune into GDC (Game Developers Conference) is unknown, but one has to assume that it will be a confirmation, at least, that Direct X 12 is coming to the Xbox One. Microsoft will unveil Direct X 12 on March 20 at 10am.
