Battlefield 4 Server Renting Coming to Consoles

It’s been available on PC since launch, but soon Battlefield 4 players on consoles will be able to rent their own dedicated servers for multiplayer purposes.

In a response to a PS4-specific fan question on the Battlefield forums, Battlelog manager “EA_Stiv” confirmed that console players will be able to rent the servers

“Indeed, it is coming,” he said. “I’m afraid we don’t have any information on this quite yet, but it is coming soon! Keep your eyes peeled on the Control Room and Battlefield blog, as those are most likely where you’ll see it announced first.”

No timetable for the launch of the server rentals has been announced by DICE or Electronic Arts.
