New Dragon Age Inquisition Trailer
Yesterday, Bioware unleashed an all new trailer showing a lot more of the world of their upcoming massive RPG, Dragon Age: Inquisition. The third Dragon Age game will be coming out for both generations (Xbox One, PS4, 360, PS3 and PC).
While this trailer does indeed look impressive, there are still plenty of questions to be answered. Most pressing is if and how it will tie in to previous Dragon Age titles (Morrigan, from the first game, has been featured, but she could be in this with no real reference to previous games for all we know) and if so will decisions long time series players have made carry over in an effective manner? While decisions made in the first game resulted in some slight cosmetic changes in the second (namely people who appear in certain scenes) it wasn’t anything of consequence.
Then, if those decisions do carry over, can they carry over to next-gen? Because frankly I’d prefer to play it on my nice shiny next-gen console. I know a lot of people weren’t that pleased with Dragon Age II with it’s different style of combat and admittedly pretty severe lack of variety in environments (not to mention having to repeatedly visit those same environments). I personally had plenty of fun with that entry, and in either case it looks like Bioware wants to take the best elements of the first two Dragon Age titles along with some new ideas (like more open environments) and give us another great Bioware RPG.
I just really hope it makes it out this year. Check out the new trailer below!
