Golden Heroes Coming To HearthStone

With HearthStone set to leave “beta” within the next few weeks, the team at Blizzard has been teasing — via Twitter — new features that will be coming to the game shortly. One of those features is “Golden Heroes”.

Golden Heroes are upgraded hero cards that become golden and animated after completing a certain task. That task: win 500 ranked matches with the appropriate class. The team also announced that it’s “your last chance” to get the Golden Gelbin card as it will go away once the game hits a full launch. To get him, you simply have to just make a purchase in the in-game shop.
