Navigate Through Child of Light With A Co-Op Friend (Trailer)
RPG’s might be Ubisoft’s strong suit in 2014. The recently-released South Park: The Stick of Truth was a laugh riot and serviceable game, and now Child of Light looks to set an entirely different mood for the game genre with their new co-op gameplay trailer.
It will not be the first RPG to feature a youthful protagonist in a vibrant world, but there is something to be said about the artistic style of Child of Light. It creates a grand scale in contrast to our small protagonists, as Aurora and her playable partner Igniculus traverse through a deeply stylized world.
Child of Light very much reminds me of Rayman Legends in the form of an active time battle RPG of a classic Final Fantasy entry. The use of the in-house UbiArt Framework engine will do that, utilizing the use of Igniculus in useful ways like healing Aurora and interacting with the environment.
Child of Light will be released on the PC, Wii U, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on April 30th. Check out the new trailer below.
