Project Spark Beta Out Now For Xbox One

After seeing a launch in test form on Windows 8.1 in December, Project Spark has launched in beta on the Xbox One today, Microsoft has announced.

Project Spark is a game-making, well, game that runs across PCs, tablets and Xbox consoles. Players build custom worlds, characters, levels and missions in any way they see fit in order to make, what they feel, is the best game within a game ever created.

The game is similar to LittleBigPlanet, but uses a different engine to create games. Tower Defense, platforms and even action-adventure games can be created with Project Spark which should give the creative games our there hours upon hours of gameplay.

Project Spark is expected to launch in full later this year. To gain access to the beta, Microsoft requires players sign up via the console or PC.
