Nintendo is struggling to sell its Wii U console against the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. However, thanks toMario Kart 8, that may no longer be the case.
Less than two days after pre-orders became available for fans, Mario Kart 8 is alreadysold out on Amazon. When you go to view the game, you will be greeted by a message that reads, “Sign up to be notified when this item becomes available.”
This may very well be the game that helps turn things around for a floundering Wii U. With Mario Kart 8, and the impending launch of Super Smash Bros., the Wii U just might have a chance to rebound in this console race.
Mario Kart 8 launches on May 30.
