HBO GO Lands on PS3

The official HBO GO app is finally available on PlayStation 3, Sony has announced. The app will be available for download when the PlayStation Store updates later today.

The app, which requires a subscription to both HBO and a participating cable provider, allows fans to watch an unlimited amount of HBO content. Shows like True Detective, The Wire, Girls, Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones can all be enjoyed via the service.

With the next season of Game of Thrones right around the corner, Sony’s PlayStation Blog claims that “you’ve got more than a month to get caught up on the first three amazing seasons.”
