Orc Assault Hits Neverwinter In Latest Call To Arms

If you’ve played just about any kind of fantasy RPG ever, you’ve probably got a healthy dislike of orcs. They’re mean, they’re ugly, and just all around unpleasant. They’re also invading “Neverwinter” right now in the game’s latest Call to Arms, fittingly titled Orc Assault.

Open to all players levels 6 to 60, Orc Assault has players teaming to save the Neverwinter Guard Post from hordes of Many-Arrows orcs. Queues for the skirmishes can be accessed at any time during the event, which is running now through February 24 at 10 a.m. PST.

Among the rewards for doing your part to hold off the orcs is the Armored Arc Wolf Companion. A little surlier than your average canine, he’s got starting power points in Power, Critical Strike and Armor Penetration, plus three slots for runestones and three more for gear.

Special weapon transmutes and dyes are also up for grabs. The Medallions of Battle that can be redeemed for these rewards can be turned in at a vendor in Protector’s Enclave that will be open until the morning of February 27.
