Go For The Gold With Word Science

The 2014 Sochi Olympics are almost over. That’s sad, especially if you enjoy hockey, figure skating, luge or wolves strolling through hotels.

Available on the iOS App Store, Google Play, and the Amazon Appstore, the game challenges you to take letter tiles off a moving conveyer belt and form words as quickly as possible. Special tiles and the ability to rearrange played tiles add to the fun, and integration with Game Center and Facebook can help you play against your friends.

What’s all this got to do with the Olympics? Nothing! But WildTangent suggests you prevent post-Sochi withdrawal by challenging yourself to spell gold, silver and bronze as quickly as possible in a 90-second session or use the names of winter sports for an even tougher task.
