There is no denying the impact that the Call of Duty franchise has had in the world of first person shooters. Without the success of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, the popularity of this genre likely wouldn’t be at the height it’s at today.

Despite the financial success that the series continues to see, I feel that the Call of Duty franchise was in its heyday with Call of Duty 2 and 3. Those games, though having there issues, were just fun. I didn’t worry about perks and prestiging my character. The only thing I had to worry about was killing the enemy.
