IndieGala Interstellar Bundle Serves Up Games For Charity
By Nick Tylwalk
If you want to feel good about yourself as a gamer, supporting projects by indie developers is a good place to start. And for feeling good as a human being, it’s hard to beat donating to a worthy cause.
The IndieGala Interstellar bundle can help you both at the same time. The latest pay-what-you-want collection of PC games features three titles guaranteed and the option to unlock five more, with proceeds going to support the AbleGamers Foundation. The best part is that you can define exactly what portion of the money you decide to pay goes to the indie developers, how much goes to AbleGamers and how much goes to IndieGala itself.
For a minimum donation of just $1, you get these three games:
- “Cubicity” is a 2D physics-based puzzle game. You play the role of Seamus, a curious guy who can’t seem to keep himself out of trouble. Help him figure out how to make it home in one piece!
- “Interstellar Marines” resurrects the old school tactical FPS, offering a unique blend of co-op, role-playing and nonlinear gameplay. Set in a believable future, you take on the role as an elite soldier handpicked to join Project IM, a top secret military program being assembled to protect mankind from all dangers outside our solar system.
- “Rush Bros” is a music reactive Platform Racing Game that features a single player and a competitive multiplayer either split-screen local or online between two simultaneous racers. Rush through over 45 unique levels jam-packed with puzzles, obstacles and power-ups in a race to the finish line.
Choosing to pay $6 or more gets you early access to the Spearhead Edition of “Interstellar Marines,” “Beast Boxing Turbo,” the newly announced point-and-click adventure “Finding Teddy,” and two more games. Every game in the Interstellar bundle can be unlocked on Steam when purchased.
It’s a great way to do two good things at once, but make sure to check it out soon, because the bundle deal expires on February 20.
