Steam Music Beta Coming Soon to SteamOS
credit: Valve
Steam Music’s beta will launch soon for users of SteamOS, Valve has announced. The service, which was just announced last week, will allow users to listen to their locally stored music files from within the Steam client while playing their games.
The closed beta will involve fans who are members of the Steam Music Community, and will be selected at random. Valve announced that the invites to the closed beta will be sent out “in waves” until the service is out of beta, and available to the public.
