Recapping the Super Bowl 48 Sims

facebooktwitterreddit

Super Bowl 48 has come and gone, and the result was a one-sided 43-8 pummeling by the Seattle Seahawks over the Denver Broncos. Now, the only question on fans’ minds is obviously, “Were the Madden simulations right?” Lucky for you, we’re here to fill you in on how the Super Bowl sims performed across the map between Denver and Seattle.

First on the list is the official sim from EA Sports. The EA Sports sim using Madden 25 predicted a 31-28 overtime Denver victory. The false prediction dropped EA Sports’ sim to 8-3 over the last 11 years.

The official Gamesided.com Super Bowl 48 sim, which you can watch above, projected a 27-9 Seattle victory. The sim successfully projected a dominating Seahawks victory to move it to 1-0 in Super Bowl sims.

Then there was the Gamesided Tecmo Bowl sim. That sim also had the Seahawks beating the Broncos by the score of 44-35. The Tecmo sim, which will be a yearly tradition here at Gamesided, also moves to 1-0 in the sim books.

So there you have it, the Gamesided sims were 2-1 against the official EA Sports Super Bowl 48 sims. That must mean that Gamesided is the World champion of Super Bowl simulations.
