Report: Police-Themed Battlefield Title Coming

A company besides DICE may be working on a Battlefield game for Electronic Arts. According to a report published by Polygon, Visceral Games is working on a police-themed Battlefield game.

Code-named Havana, this new police-themed game will be a project aside from the usual Battlefield games of the past, and future. It is expected to be released later this year according to Polygon. While a new themed Battlefield game sounds like a good idea, the bigger story here is that, if the report is accurate, the Battlefield franchise looks like it may become annualized sooner rather than later which may not necessarily be a good thing after the countless issues Battlefield 4 has had since its release in October.
