Meet The Cast Of Characters In Game Insight’s Running Shadow

“Running Shadow” was already shaping up to be an entirely new type of endless runner thanks to things like combat and RPG-style progression. Now Game Insight is taking its evolutionary take on the genre even further by introducing the eclectic cast of characters that will populate the game.

As a member of the Fraternity of Shadows, you’ll be guided by elder members White Eagle and Black Raven while crossing paths with the assassin Wasp, the master spy Lady Whisper, and the thief known as Golden Finger. You’ll learn the art of swordsmanship from the dark elf Onyx Scorpion and find out more about Moon Running from a night elf trainer named Quicksilver. And you’ll need to rely on the resources provided by the dwarven blacksmith Olaf Ironhand, the merchant Khalim al Tanabi, and the scribe Albert Kashtu.

The NPCs aren’t just window dressing, as Game Insight is hinting that digging into the motivations of the various members of the Fraternity and determining whether they are loyal to its goals is a key part of the story in “Running Shadow.” Clearly, there’s going to be a lot more to do in this gothic fantasy world than simply run, jump and avoid hazards.
