Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number Coming Out Q3 2014
The follow-up to the successful Indie smash hit, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, will be coming out in the third quarter of 2014. This is according to a tweet released by the game’s official Twitter account.
The 2D top-down action shooter will take place before and after the events of Hotline Miami. It will feature the story through the viewpoint of various factions, and will include a hard mode if you beat the levels with a good enough ranking. As opposed to just a simple HP boost, abilities may be taken away from the player as to ratchet up the skill level required to complete the game in hard mode.
A level editor will also be coming to Hotline Miami 2, which should allow players to create and share their creations with the game’s community. It is a great way of increasing replayability and showcasing the talent and creativity of Hotline Miami 2’s fans. As previously mentioned, this will be the last game in the saga.
Hotline Miami 2 will be released on the PS4, PC and PS Vita when it comes out later this year.
