Don’t Fall For Titanfall Beta Scammers
The long-rumored beta for Titanfall was confirmed on Monday night by Respawn, and it didn’t take long for people out there to try their hand at scamminggamers.
Official beta details haven’t been announced by Respawn or Electronic Arts, and they warn all players to avoid websites claiming to be sign ups. A tweet from Titanfall community manager Mathew Everett laid out the official warning by stating, “We have not announced further details for the Titanfall beta at this time. DO NOT SIGN-UP at random sites claiming to be the official Beta.”
So please, be aware of the potential scumbaggery — yea, we made up a word — that is out there trying to phish out your personal information. Until you hear it from us, do not sign up for a website claiming to be the beta for Titanfall.
