Back in the day, real time strategies reigned supreme. Imagine the look on a fan’s face when they heard that The Lord of the Rings franchise would get their own version with Battle for Middle Earth? Campaigns for both good and evil provided an alternative look to the book (and film) series’ greatest battles, while providing enough enjoyment and replayability to warrant a sequel. Too bad the official servers went down.
