7. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
If Nintendo had a Metroid game out on the Wii U half as good as Echoes was, they wouldn’t be in the predicament they are now. Okay, that’s probably false, but it is high testament to Metroid Prime 2. It took everything great about Metroid Prime and added extras to it. Wall jumps and the infamous screw attack were welcome sights, and the engaging boss fights and navigational puzzles helped to create a long and enjoyable campaign.
