9. Star Wars Battlefront

As you will see, 2004 was one of the last years LucasArts got it right with the Star Wars brand. Being put in the perspective outside the realm of the traditional hero opened eyes to fans, as participating in grueling all-out battles was quite the enjoyable experience. Plus, we were blissfully unaware of just how bad Episode 3 would be at the time of launch (seeing how the movie was still in production). We had yet to take the ultimate plunge that George Lucas was willing to take the franchise. Battlefront was a strong respite from that decline.
