10. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

Now the cutoffs start to sting. TTYD was yet another addition of what I love dearly in video gaming: Mario and Role-playing game mechanics. You were the star of the show as Mario; literally, as the audience participation could lead to a close escape or aid in your doom. The cast of secondary character helped to liven up the vibrant game. The leveling up system in Paper Mario continues to be a favorite, as the “Choose Which To Boost” system forces difficult decisions and multiple styles of play.
