Top 40 Games From 2004

11. Metroid: Zero Mission

We were THAT close to having 2 Metroid games in the Top 10. Instead, we have Metroid I refitted for the GBA to play like Super Metroid. Somehow this did not create the greatest video game of all time, but it did create the best Metroid handheld. There is enough new content (areas, suit-free Samus sections) to be pleasantly surprised, while keeping in respect with the game that started it all. Newcomers to the series will be spoiled with how much “Metroid can crawl,” especially.
