The joy that the Hitman series brought to stealth was the creativity in its action. Being a silent assassin was the method of completion, and creating accidents by using cunning logic could get you through levels without anyone effectively knowing you were there. The wackiness of the silly costumes you can wear to put you in the right areas of the game map was just the cherry on the top, with Hitman: Contracts continuing what would eventually become a well-regarded series.
