Steam Allows Users To Cancel Pre-Orders
Did you pre-order a game you thought looked interesting, but as the release date got closer, you realized you no longer wanted it? Well, now Steam will allow you to cancel any pre-orders you make on the client without having to go through the client’s customer support service.
According to this post on Steam’s forums, Steam now offers a “refund an item” option right on the store transaction page. Cancelled pre-orders will see the funds go directly into users’ steam wallets. Remember, though, make sure that if you choose to cancel a pre-order for a refund, you do it before the game releases. Otherwise, you are out of luck.
