Report: Driveclub Release Date Revealed

Sony’s first console-exclusive racing game for the PlayStation 4 was supposed to be released alongside the console’s launch in November, but alas Driveclub ended up being delayed into 2014 to give developer Evolution Studios more time to make sure that the game was up to the PS4’s standards. Since the announcement of a delay came back in October, fans have been clamoring for any new information regarding Driveclub’s release date, but nothing has really been leaked or officially announced. Until now, that is.

According to a Facebook post by the Italian version of the official PlayStation Magazine, Driveclub is going to hit the track this June.

"We like the ‘hunch’ that Driveclub will arrive in June, but you do not tell anyone…"

If the June arrival of the game is true, then it still stays in the time frame of the spring 2014 anticipation date due to Summer not starting until the end of June. Of course, nothing has been officially announced by Sony yet in regards to an exact date so it’s possible that it could come early or later. Still, to have a seemingly solid timeframe for when we can expect the game is great news for anyone itching to play a racing game on the PS4.
