New Super Smash Bros. Screenshot Released

Nintendo just loves playing with fans’ emotions don’t they? In yet another “Pic of the Day” on his Miiverse page, Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai teased fans with a brand new screenshot from the 3DS version of the upcoming 3DS/Wii U debut of Super Smash Bros..

The latest image showcases the 3DS’ single-player mode, and includes a message from Sakurai about the game’s solo mode.

“To be clear, the new Super Smash Bros. games do not feature a story mode like The Subspace Emissary,” he said

There is no official release date yet for the new Super Smash Bros. games, but they are expected to arrive at some point in 2014 according to Nintendo itself. Hopefully they come sooner rather than later.
