Dead Rising 3 Patch Released

Since it’s release, Xbox One exclusive Dead Rising 3  hasn’t seen much in the form of a major post-launch update. Until now, that is.

Capcom has released a massive 13 GB downloadable patch for the game that is rumored to be linked to the incoming DLC package for the game, “Operation Broken Eagle”. The update is mandatory for all users in order to continue on with the game, and, as of now, no official release notes in regards to what the update actually does has been released. Is the patch solely linked to the upcoming DLC package — the first of four to be released — or is it just a major fix to some of the game’s issues?
