New Destiny Screenshots Released

While everyone was whisking away to dreamland Tuesday night, Sony was busy posting eight brand new screenshots of Bungie’s upcoming shooter Destiny to the PlayStation tumblr page.

The screenshots include a look at some in-game fighting action, including the ever-popular, and loathed, jump shot “skill” that was made famous in the Halo franchise. You also get a look at a giant robot monster that you will be responsible for destroying.

You can view all of the new images in the slideshow below. Destiny releases on September 9, 2014 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

The screenshots are all well and good, but what we really want to see is actual gameplay. Hopefully that comes sooner rather than later.
