The Wolf Among Us Episode 2 Released First Week Of February

It has been announced on theTelltale Games company forumsthat The Wolf Among Us Episode 2, ‘Smoke & Mirrors,’ will be released in the first week of February. It will be coming out on PC, Mac, PS3 and Xbox 360 first, with release dates being coordinated by Telltale Games right now.

It has been been roughly 3 monthssince the release of Episode 1came out, with 4 months total in-between episodes being launched. Considering Telltale’s episodic games usually release within 2 months, it is rather peculiar why it took so long to have the second episode released.

The speculation is that with Telltale Games taking on many more projects (likeTales From The BorderlandsandGame of Thrones), as well as releasing another episodic series in conjunction with The Wolf Among Us inThe Walking Dead: Season 2, the indie developers/publishers might be juggling too many balls in the air. 4 separate IP’s require a great deal of writers, programmers, designers, artists and voice talent (among other staffers), which would arguably lead to delays if everything doesn’t go off without a hitch.

Regardless, it’s at least great news to hear a timeframe for The Wolf Among Us’ future releases. Expect a GameSided review of The Wolf Among Us Episode 2, ‘Smoke & Mirrors,’ within the first week of February when the game is released.
