Gaming and Youtube are like Donkey and Kong. Two vastly different things, but in unison are perfect together. A large contingent of gamers are watching gameplay video or critique on Youtube, and that number is growing by the day. 16 of the Top 100 most subscribed Youtube channels are dedicated to gaming content, a good number considering the amount of the Top 100 consisting of VEVO and corporate conglomerates’ channels. That’s why, here at GameSided, we would like to showcase some of the best in Youtube’s gaming community in a feature we like to call Youtube Gaming Community Clicks!

Each month, we will show you some of the best Youtube gaming channels with fewer than 50,000 subscribers or someone who has just broken past and is on their way to Youtube fame. That way we can let you know about the best of the hidden gems on Youtube, as well as the cutting through the clutter of shoutcasting, over-the-top faux screaming at horror games (complete with face cams), and the oh-so-many Minecraft channels. Here is last month’s edition to catch you up.

This month we cover an essential service to Awesome Games Done Quick and two very different types of Spelunky runners that do much, much more. It will also be the last month this feature will be Youtube-exclusive, as 2014 will see the change to “Gaming Community Clicks” to accommodate livestreamers and other gaming videos.
