6. Grand Theft Auto V

You had to of known Grand Theft Auto V would make the list.  I mean, it has won many awards already and was by far, the best out of all of the Grand Theft Auto’s to date.  I know, the online launch was sketchy, but at least they warned us up front unlike most developers.

This was my most anticipated game of 2013, and I was thrilled to finally get my hands on it when it was released.  It never disappointed during the long nights I sat up playing until morning as the story just further and further brought me in.  I really enjoyed the decisions we could make within the game that affected the outcomes and it definitely created a player relationship with the characters.

Then multiplayer hit – disappointing at first as my very first attempt dropped me from the clouds to the ground in a 15 second free fall to my death.  The kinks soon disappeared after a few days and the mayhem throughout the city was definitely fun.

I still see many people on GTA V, and Rockstar is definitely delivering on their promise of continuous additions in the game by adding countless free updates that build upon the multiplayer.
