Playstation Now Recommends 5Mb/s Connection
The new PlayStation Now streaming service has taken the gaming world by storm. Being able to access a catalog of PS1, PS2 and PS3 games from almost any Sony device is a Sony lovers dream.
But as with any online streaming service, there is always the concern of lag and stability based on internet connection. Just how fast does your internet need to be in order to fully enjoy the features that come with PlayStation Now? According to IGN, Sony will recommend a connection of 5Mb/s in order to ensure a “good experience” with the service.
That is relatively low compared to what many expected it to require due to the amount of games that will be available for users to play. PlayStation Now is expected to launch for the PS3 and PS4 this summer.
