6. “Ridiculous Fishing”
Some games are guaranteed to be winners as soon as you hear the concept. In the case of “Ridiculous Fishing,” a friend described it to me as “a game where you catch a whole bunch of fish, throw them in the air and then shoot them.” And that’s not really even doing it justice, since it fails to fully capture how over-the-top the game really is.
The gameplay was simple but challenging, which just put an even brighter spotlight on the backdrop to all of it. The music and graphics also helped set a unique and appropriate tone, which was—wait for it—ridiculous.
