Nintendo Direct: Sonic Lost World DLC ‘Yoshi’s Island Zone’ Announced

Nintendo Direct has saw some cool announcements in the past. It continues today with free DLC announced for Sonic Lost World. It is called Yoshi’s Island Zone, and it is available today.

Play as Sonic in a world re-imagined within the classic Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island. You can see familiar pipes, egg blocks and shy guys as you run around in the gameplay style of the side-scrolling Sonic.

Additionally, Satoru Iwata hinted at another DLC stage that is in development, being able to “Link” Sonic’s world with the other. It appears as though a Legend of Zelda stage is in the works for Sonic Lost World. Look for that sometime next year.
