Alexander Gustafsson Wins UFC Cover Fan Vote

It was already known that Jon “Bones” Jones was going to grace the cover of the first UFC video game under the EA Sports label. What wasn’t know, though, was who was going to join Jones on the cover. Until now, that is.

The fans have spoken, via a month-long voting process that garnered over 11 million fan votes, and it will be “The Mauler” Alexander Gustafsson joining Jones on the cover of the upcoming game. Gustafsson beat out George St. Pierre, who was a heavy favorite going into the campaign, in the finals of the voting.

EA Sports’ UFC launches in the Spring of 2014 on the Xbox One and PS4.
