VGX 2013: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt New Trailer Released

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was shown at VGX tonight and the developer CD Projekt RED released a short trailer.

This game concludes the story of Geralt of Rivia, the series’ protagonist, whose story to date has been covered in the previous iterations.

The Witcher 3 will feature the new REDengine 3 game engine, developed by CD Projekt RED and designed specifically for non-linear role-playing video games set in vast open-world environments.

It’s supposed to help eliminate many of the game development trade-offs in previous games that the developer faced, allowing them to create “an open environment with a complex, multi-thread story.
