VGX 2013: Quantum Break Gameplay Revealed

During the VGX 2013, the team at Remedy showed off a lot more Quantum Break coverage than previously revealed.

It will be a cover-based action game within a science fiction world. Time travel experiments have gone horribly wrong, resulting in time anomalies. The two main characters, Jack Joyce and Beth Wilder, are born out of these experiments and can control time to their advantage, as well as main antagonist Paul Serene.

Using these time-based powers are possible in a number of ways, with mastery required to defeat Monarch Industries. Remedy Entertainment looks to use their experiences with the early Max Payne games, alongside Alan Wake, to perfect game-based storytelling with Quantum Break.

The game will be released exclusively for the Xbox One. Here is a trailer from VGX 2013.
