VGX To Feature Indie Game Premiere
With the rise of indie games over the past few years, it only seems right that developers start getting some of the same treatment that major AAA publishers get for their games. On Saturday, at Spike TV’s VGX, a first-ever event will be taking place involving indie games: a World premiere.
VGX co-host Geoff Keighley announced via his Twitter page of the monumental occasion.
“Tomorrow, I’m personally excited to share with you our first ever indie game world premiere, and game announcement at VGX. Very special game,” his tweet read.
For fans of the independent gaming industry, this can be viewed as a ground-breaking movement for the “little guys”. The hard work these special men and women put in on a limited budget is finally starting to be respected. Now comes the guessing as to what developer is getting the special treatment. Leave your guesses in the comment section below.
