Destiny Receives Massive Info Blow-Out, From GameInformer’s January Issue
By Chris Lacey
One of the more anticipated games coming out next year is Destiny from developer Bungie. The title has graced the cover of GameInformer’s January issue.
One of the things mentioned in the issue are each of the game’s three classes – Hunter, Titan and Warlock.
The classes can equip the same guns, but the armour sets remain tethered to specific classes. Players will have the ability to tailor their class with a specific ‘focus.’
Focuses can include anything from weapon stat bonuses, the ability to double jump, a teleport move, new grenade types and a selection of special moves.
The Warlock has ‘Heart of Fusion’ support focus and ‘Circle of Night’ attack skill, with the Titan having ‘Fist of Havoc’ shockwave focus that can act as an electrical DPS move.
The setting for the game will include Old Russia on Earth, the Vex Citadel on Venus, the Moon and Mars.
In those environments you’ll encounter several alien enemies including, pirate warband the Fallen, robot force the Vex, industrial heavyweights the Cabal and man-made machine race the Exo.
Destiny will also have new online features such as co-op across the campaign, raid and strike modes, as well as PvP battles involving zone capture and deathmatch events.
The video below is a gameplay trailer for Destiny.
Destiny is out Spring 2014 for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One.
