"The purpose of a legal settlement is to end a pending dispute between two or more parties. However, in rare occasions, the language contained within those agreements (settlements are technically considered contracts) and existing contracts affected by said settlement paperwork can become the subject of new contentious controversies for at least one of the parties that attach their signatures to the binding document. That is the case in a new lawsuit filed by the NCAA against Electronic Arts and the Collegiate Licensing Company.The Complaint filed earlier this month alleges that the Collegiate Licensing Company did not “adequately supervise” EA in the video-game maker’s creation and production of its NCAA Football line of products, which has ”subject[ed] the NCAA to potential liability in several lawsuits currently being litigated relating to EA’s alleged use of NCAA student athletes’ names, images, and likenesses in EA’s NCAA-themed video games.”"
"Xbox One launch title Crimson Dragon will have its difficulty tweaked and updated before the system is released tomorrow.In a statement published on the official Xbox Wire site, game director Yukio Futatsugi announced his studio will use the cloud to balance the game based on feedback from reviews.“I’ve heard the feedback on Crimson Dragon and plan to adjust the balance of the game before we launch on Xbox One this week,” the statement reads."
"“Final Fantasy 15” Playstation 4 release date is still not confirmed by Square Enix even though it has showcased in a couple of expos. Recent reports have confirmed that the long awaited video game will not be released early next year.Square Enix has revealed a list of games that will be available in the first quarter of the fiscal year that ends in March 2014 and Final Fantasy was unfortunately not listed.The Square Enix game has been showcased at the PS 4 All Access in a short film, along with Kingdom Hearts 3. However, with not that much excitement; the video did not show any new footage of the game. The same video clip was previously shown at the Electronic Entertainment Expo earlier this year."
