Spike VGX 2013 Gaming Awards Nominations Revealed

facebooktwitterreddit

Another year, another video gaming awards conference held by Spike; this time rebranded as the VGX. This event has been decidedly more game marketing than awarding game developers honors in the past, but it is the biggest event when it comes to reveal trailers for the hottest upcoming video games. Some of those included Metal Gear Solid V masquerading as “Moby Dick Games” production “Phantom Pain,” Dark Souls II and The Elder Scrolls IV: Skyrim.

This year’s VGX awards will be a 3-hour event live-streamed, and the nominations have already been revealed. Here are the games up for nomination, and their categories. Your votes only count for “Most Anticipated Game,” but the remaining categories and their respective voting may shape how the Advisory Council votes come for the VGX Awards come December 7th at 6 PM ET.
