New Super Smash Bros Level Revealed

Nintendo has revealed a brand new Super Smash Brothers level for it’s upcoming release. The screenshot above is the new level that is inspired by the Nintendo Wii’s Super Mario Galaxy series.

The level will only be available on the Wii U version of the game, and not the 3DS version. Game director Masahiro Sakurai revealed the level on Sunday to the masses along with the unique feature the level holds which centers around gravity.

“The pull of gravity emanates from the center of the planet, so this will require using brand-new tactics,” Sakurai said.

It’s unclear, and unlikely as of now, that the 3DS version will get a special “Galaxy” level. Each game will have its own set of unique levels for players to enjoy thus taking out the possibility of cross-system gameplay.

Super Smash Bros. releases sometime in 2014. It has been rumored for a May 2014 release.
