Sony Announces PS4 Partnership With NASA, Exploring Space

During the PS4 All Access hour hosted by GameTrailer TV and Geoff Keighley, Sony and Magic Lab announced a partnership on a mysterious NASA project along the threads of space exploration.

Not much is known, but the experiment looks to have you feel like you are exploring space in an authentic way. Some ideas that come to mind include a space simulation game/application that either uses photography from satellites/the International Space station or licensing information or data about how space exploration works so that Sony can create a game themselves.

NASA involvement on a PS4 console project can only spur more conversations and rumors. There was speculation earlier this week that Naughty Dogs’ newest game was a space-themed game, but with the reveal tonight of a new Uncharted game, that rumor has been debunked rather quickly.
