GOG.com Insomnia Promo Puts Hundreds Of Games On Sale
By Nick Tylwalk
Insomnia is usually a bad thing. I don’t know about you, but I often try fighting it by playing video games until I’m tired enough to fall asleep.
GOG.com wants to help all of us who might be awake against our will this season with its Fall Insomnia Promo, which is going on right now. Hundreds of games are included in the sale at discounts of up to 80 percent off, along with some free games in limited quantities.
Here’s how it works: on the front page of GOG.com, you’ll find one game that is marked down, along with the amount of digital copies included in the promo. Once those copies are gone, that’s it for that particular game, and as Jay Z once said, it’s on to the next one. Think of it as a Woot-Off for PC games.
You’ll never know what’s up next, but that’s part of the fun. Some titles GOG.com says will definitely be part of Insomnia include “System Shock 2,” “Fez,” “Hotline Miami,” “Rayman Origins,” “Baldur’s Gate,” and “Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri.” We’re talking about some genuine calssics here.
Could you have missed some of them already? Quite possibly, which is why it behooves you to check GOG.com early and often, because the Fall Insomnia Promo is only going to last until all the sale copies are gone. Or until everyone finally falls asleep, whichever comes first.
