Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus Review Roundup
Oh, the times have changed for the team at Insomniac Games. What used to be a hotly-anticipated game coming out of the Ratchet & Clank series each year has quite deflated heading into the end of the PlayStation 3’s life cycle. That is what to be expect when you create roughly eleven games over two generations of consoles based on the same two protagonist characters.
Nevertheless, the Ratchet & Clank developers are on to newer things, as of late. They have jumped shipped from working exclusively with Sony and PlayStation over the past three decades to work exclusively with Microsoft and Xbox One to create upcoming open world shooter Sunset Overdrive. It is said that development will include community feedback that involves, “pop culturally relevant content like memes and social commentary, new weapons, new characters, and more.” It will be interesting to see how the game will be received after building a fanbase of consumers and gamers who have exclusively played their games on Sony consoles.
Nevertheless, that is for the future to decide. For the present, we have various outlets to give you review scores for Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus. The game will be released exclusively on the PlayStation 3 tomorrow, on November 12th.
