Washington appears to be turning the corner on the 2013 season while Minnesota just seems to be falling further into obscurity.

Both teams played an even first half with the score 17-17 after two, but then Washington put on the afterburners on its way to a convincing victory over the Vikings to up its record to X-X while knocking the Vikings to 1-8.

Robert Griffin III threw for just 112 yards, but that’s all he needed to do thanks to RB Alfred Morris. Morris ran for 288 yards and three touchdowns on 36 carries.

Adrian Peterson rushed for just 77 yards on 24 touches. Christian Ponder threw four interceptions, all of which coming in the second half.
