#10: Jumbo Cactuar (Final Fantasy VIII)

I have a soft spot for the cactuar family. There they are, off on their own islands to live in peace upon their cactus-like friends, until suddenly an adventuring party comes to massacre them all. That’s why they try to flee combat ASAP, usually have high evasion stats and typically shoot out thorn needles in retaliation.

In the case of Jumbo Cactuar in Final Fantasy VIII, he needs to stick up for his much-smaller friends by taking the party head on. Other than his size, his French-inspired mustache shows that he means business, not willing to go down without a fight.
